Update: Italian Cruise-Ship Runs Aground

As a follow-up to my earlier postings on the Costa Concordia running aground a stone's throw from the Italian island of Giglio on Friday (January 13), 15 people remain unaccounted for as of Monday morning (January 16).

Two French citizens and a Peruvian crew member have already been determined to have died in the "accident," which is surely to go down as one of the most negligent maritime accidents in recent years.

The ship's captain has been arrested and is facing a multitude of charges.
