British expatriate Nathan Clarke, 30, from Cheltenham, was last seen over a week ago near Calico Jack’s beach bar on West Bay Road, Grand Cayman.
Mr. Clarke, who has lived in the Caymans for roughly four years, had been enjoying a few drinks with his fiancée and friends, and disappeared minutes after walking down to the water’s edge at around 2030 hours.
COMMENT: According to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), 527 volunteers have come forward to aid 39 police officers in searching for the Briton. The time spent searching, the service said, translates into an estimated 28,000 man hours.
Unfortunately, the only clue found this far in Clarke's disappearance, was his mobile phone, which was found floating in the Caribbean on Wednesday (March 7).
Family and friends have set up a Facebook page entitled, Find Nathan, in an effort to cultivate clues and leads in Mr. Clarke's disappearance.
