Latin America: Chile Ranked as Most Competitive in Region by ADEN


According to the ADEN Business School, based in Mendoza, Argentina, an analysis of eighteen participating countries in Latin America, has ranked Chile as the MOST competitive nation in the region. ADEN's Institute of Competitiveness has ranked the 18 participating nations as follows:
  1. Chile (81.4)
  2. Panamá (74.7)
  3. Costa Rica (72.9)
  4. Brazil (72.2)
  5. México (71.8)
  6. Uruguay (71.5)
  7. Colombia (67.4)
  8. Perú (67.4)
  9. Argentina (65.4)
  10. Ecuador (64.3)
  11. El Salvador (63.3)
  12. Guatemala (60.4)
  13. Paraguay (60.4)
  14. Dominican Republic (60.2)
  15. Honduras (59.2)
  16. Nicaragua (58.3)
  17. Venezuela (57.1)
  18. Bolivia (55.7)

Those factors assessed in conjunction with the competitiveness analysis include: infrastructure, macroeconomic stability, health, education, population expectations and market share.
