Thought for the Day: IATA Needs to Provide a Free List of Countries Having a Separate Departure Tax

As most of our readers know, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) represents 240 global airlines amounting to 80% of total air traffic. IATA is the trade association for the world’s airlines. IATA supports airline activity and helps formulate industry policy and standards.

As I was reviewing the IATA website, https://www.iata.org, I attempted to locate a free list of worldwide airport departure taxes that are not included in the price of a airline ticket.

Interestingly, such documents are for sale by IATA, but a free list of current worldwide airport departure taxes (exclusive of ticket charges) are nowhere to be found.

For entrepreneurs such as myself and for the millions of airline passengers across the globe who work for small companies and don't have huge budgets, it seems reasonable for IATA to provide a FREE list of worldwide airport departure taxes to provide a captive audience such as airline passengers with a current list of departure taxes.

For those of you who agree with me, I'd be grateful if you could chime in by sending me an email supporting a free list of worldwide airport departure taxes:
