Tip of the Day: Finding Free Wi-Fi Hotspots, Security Tips

Although I must caution our readers that free wifi "hot" spots are very risky, particularly if you are creating "sensitive and proprietary" files or working on financial websites, please consider the following for innocuous emails:
  • For iPhone users: Go to the App Store in iTunes;
  • For Android users, go to the App Store;
  • http://www.boingo.com;
  • https://playgoggle.com;
  • http://www.youcanworkfromanywhere.com/wifi;
  • http://www.att.com/maps/wifi;
  • http://www.openwifispots.com.
If you are aware of any reliable wifi "hot-spots" abroad, please email them to me at:

ed@sbrisksolutions.com

Please do NOT use free "wi-fi hot-spots" for financial transaction or anything that is "business sensitive or confidential," as prying eyes are found everywhere.

The best way of communicating while abroad is via a reputable "hard-wire" connection that does NOT include hotels or hotel business centers.

Consider the below site for all-device protection (smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop) which also includes protection for iPhones and Apple devices:
