Tip of the Day: Use an ATM Card NOT a Credit Card to Get Foreign Cash

First things first:Using a designated ATM card at an ATM is less expensive than using a credit card at an ATM!

Generally speaking, if you use an ATM card or a debit card to get cash, you may roughly $1 or $1.50 per withdrawal.

Conversely, if you use a credit card to get cash from an ATM, you potentially may pay a minimum fee of $5 or 3% of the transaction amount, whichever is greater.
