US: CNN: "Piers Morgan Live" Cancelled After Three Years, Adios Piers

According to Fox News, CNN's prime-time talk show "Piers Morgan Live" is coming to an end, the news channel said Sunday (February 23).
COMMENT: Morgan, who succeeded Larry King in the 2100 EST time slot three years ago, never quite found a receptive audience, particularly his tiring and repetitive anti-gun "rants."
Of course, if Morgan had took to the time to engage in even a modicum of research, he would have discovered that "concealed-carry" laws are firmly in place in all 50 of the US states.
When Piers Morgan replaced Larry King, I said to myself, "I knew Larry King. You're no Larry King."
The date for Morgan's last show has yet to be determined, CNN said in a statement, although hopefully it won't be soon enough.
Simply put, CNN's audience has become fatigued in hearing a Brit weigh in on American cultural issues.
CNN did not comment on Morgan's future with the channel.
Last fall, the already struggling "Piers Morgan Live" faced increased competition from a revised FNC lineup that included a strong new performer at 2100 EST with Megyn Kelly's "The Kelly File."
Hopefully, CNN has learned its lesson: "Don't hire a foreigner to tell Americans how to suck eggs."
