Australia: Frenchwoman, 21, Found Dead in Melbourne Early Morning on March 28

According to http://www.news.ninemsn.com.au, it remains unclear as to whether French student Sophie Collombet, 21, was randomly attacked, if she was robbed or if she was sexually assaulted.
Tragically, the young Frenchwoman's naked body was found in a rotunda near South Bank early on Friday (March 28).

Southbank is an inner urban neighborhood of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, one kilometer south of Melbourne's central business district.

COMMENT: Police believe she died from a brain injury caused by a blunt-force instrument.

Police have not as yet found the young woman's clothes or a murder weapon. They have no suspects.
Based upon initial queries, investigators believe the woman is a French national who arrived in February 2013 on a foreign study visa.
Her flatmates reported her as missing and her parents believe that the jewelry found on her body is hers.
The woman left home on Thursday morning (March 27) with a large shoulder bag, which is also missing.
Sophie was last seen alive on CCTV footage in the inner city between 0200-0300 hours on Friday.
The woman is the fourth young foreigner to be murdered in Brisbane.

This report will be updated as new information becomes available.
