Israel: FAA's Ban Prompted Tel Aviv to Lose US$200 Million in Tourism Revenue

According to Israeli news reports, only seven foreign carriers continued their flights to Tel Aviv on Wednesday (July 23).

Calcalist, an Israeli business newspaper, estimated that the impact on tourism revenues in Tel Aviv could easily reach US$200 million. 

COMMENT: It should be noted that of the carriers continuing to fly to Tel Aviv, none have had reported security incidents.
