Morocco/Brazil: Airline Partnership Retroactive to August 2013

According to The Latin American Tribune, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) said it signed an agreement on Monday (August 25) with Brazil’s GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes covering air connections between Morocco and Latin America.

The agreement, which is retroactive to mid-August 2013, will allow travelers to make reservations on one ticket for flights offered by the two carriers and enjoy automatic luggage transfers between the São Paulo and Casablanca Airports, RAM said in a statement.

RAM began serving Latin America last December 2013, offering a Casablanca-São Paulo flight.

The Moroccan national carrier will now offer its customers the ability to fly to destinations served by GOL.

COMMENT: Travelers using RAM will be able to fly from Casablanca to Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Caracas, Montevideo, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Cancún.

Passengers on flights originating on GOL’s system, in turn, will have access to the destinations served by RAM.
