I'm just as confused as you are, if you don't know who to believe anyone in Nigeria, check out the below link:

COMMENT: In a country known for its institutionalized DISINFORMATION, who do you trust more? Boko Haram for the highly distrusted government of Goodluck Jonathan, who just so happens to be running for reelection?

Boko Haram's still-rumored leader, Abubakar Shekau, delivered his message in a video-clip released on Friday (October 31), telling the kidnapped girls' relatives that they've been converted to Islam long ago and married off.

First of all, anything that happened in Nigeria much more than yesterday is described as  passé.

Families had been encouraged by news of a very rumored cease-fire agreement, yet the puzzling dilemma is:

Who do you believe in Nigeria if you can believe anyone at all?

Wearing a camouflage tunic and pants, and flanked by masked militants holding anti-aircraft weapons, Shekau continued with a puzzled sneer that the girls have all been converted to Islam and married off for $12 a head.

The Nigerian military has claimed to have killed Shekau, and that any new videos are made by a body double, yet the US  still has a $7 million ransom on Shekau's head.

According to reports, the abducted girls have been divided into groups, and some have been transported into Cameroon and Chad. They were forced into marriage with militants who paid about $12 for each bride, according to the reports.

Along with squelching the hopes and dreams of the girls and their families, the malevolent Boko Haram leader also threatened in the video to kill an unidentified German hostage.
